SME Business Services Limited (SMEBS) is a Joint Venture of Punjab Information & Communication Technology Corporation Ltd for setting up of IT/Web Enabled Marketing Engine (www.sme.in) to promote exports by small & medium enterprises industries for the state of Punjab.
Digitalization Initative For MSME’s
SME Business Services Limited is a Joint Venture Company promoted by Punjab Infotech, a 100% owned PSU of Punjab Govt. and Professionals from the IT and Marketing Industries. The company provides marketing assistance to MSME Businesses through its online platform.
SME Business Services Limited’s charter is to provide assistance to the SME’s of the state in adopting digital methods to promote and enhance their business. For this purpose, SME Business Services Limited has set up a State-of-the-art Cataloguing system that allows products and services to be classified into 93000 categories and sub categories. This catalog assists the business in being able to enhance its search in the internet milieu and thereby get visibility. Further it enables the SME organization to quickly establish a digital presence as it takes the catalog from SME Business Services Limited on a SaaS basis. This way the business has to make minimal investments to get their business online and use the expertise of SME Business Services Limited for maximizing their digital presence.
SME Business Services Limited has set up a MoU with MIDC in Maharashtra and MP LUN (Madhya Pradesh Laghu Udyog Nigam Limited) to enable SME businesses in the states of Maharashtra and MP harness this technology. SME Business Services Limited has established sales and marketing operations in the state to facilitate business and get the SME’s in the state to adopt to this technology.

For the state of Maharashtra, we executed a MoU, where we have collaborated with your organization to build the portal www.mahasme.in. SME businesses of your state subscribe to this portal and their catalogs in multiple languages which are then multi published on the internet into several portals. Many of these organisations use their published catalogs as their website by taking a domain name from us. Besides this we also run Vendor and Buyer enlistment on our portal and provide assistance to the Members in identifying buyers for their categories of products.
Maharashtra Operations of SME Business Services Limited:
Over the last 10 years SMEBS have profiled over 3000 MSME companies in Maharashtra and built a Database of over 80,000 companies. We operate in different districts of Maharashtra and as per the MOU have taken space from MIDC in their offices from where our representatives and officers operate from. We are in constant touch with the SME’s and their associations with the single objective of increasing their business.
